Dubai, UAE – January 15, 2007: Sharjah Economic Group and Europart Holdings GmbH, Germany, have joined forces to establish Europart Middle East (EPME), marking a significant milestone in the region’s truck and trailer spare parts industry. This strategic partnership aims to leverage Europart Holdings’ expertise as one of Europe’s largest traders of spare parts and Sharjah Economic Group’s regional presence to meet the growing demand across the MENA region.
Headquartered in Dubai, the newly formed company is set to revolutionize spare parts distribution. EPME’s operations, scheduled to commence in early 2008, will be anchored by a central warehouse in Jebel Ali and supported by distribution centers in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Additionally, an export showroom in Deira, Dubai, will cater to international markets, including GCC nations, Iraq, Afghanistan, and several African countries.
A key focus of the joint venture is ensuring high-quality, affordable spare parts for European trucks and trailers. EPME will implement a Two-Brand Policy, offering customers premium Original Equipment (OE) Aftermarket brands alongside the in-house “EUROPART” brand. The collaboration will introduce renowned Aftermarket brands such as MAHLE, WABCO, MANN+Hummel, HELLA, JOST, ZF, Febi, and more to the region.
“This partnership combines Sharjah Economic Group’s deep understanding of regional markets with Europart Holdings’ decades of expertise in the European spare parts sector,” said a spokesperson for the joint venture. “Together, we aim to set new standards in quality, affordability, and service in the MENA region.”
As the venture prepares to begin operations, industry experts are optimistic about its potential to transform the spare parts market, driving growth and innovation across the region.
